Coolabi Group strengthens Purple Ronnie brand with two licensing deals.

Independent international media group and rights owner, Coolabi Group, today announces new deals with two new licensing partners, Summersdale and Funstickers, for its iconic property Purple Ronnie.

Summersdale have come on board to publish and distribute gifting books worldwide (excluding North America) and consumers can expect to see the new books on shelves in Spring 2016.

Founded in 1990, Summersdale is a vibrant publisher that puts its heart and soul into creating exceptional books; it produces a diverse range of over 150 titles per year, with a backlist of over 600 titles.

Claire Plimmer, Summersdale, comments “Summersdale is thrilled to welcome Purple Ronnie into its portfolio and to align our company with such a strong brand where the synergies between the two are clear. We’re looking forward to promoting Purple Ronnie’s fun, quirky and slightly irreverent character within an initial four book deal.”

Adding further weight to the Purple Ronnie brand, Funstickers have developed a brand new Purple Ronnie sticker range including bubble stickers, 3D stickers, foam stickers and sticker activity sets. Funstickers develop the highest quality products and is continuing to work with Coolabi Group across both Beast Quest and Clangers. Beast Quest sticker sets will be available soon at all good retailers and exciting new Clangers sets are expected on shelves in Autumn 2016.
