Coolabi Productions, our television arm, is one of the busiest independent producers of children’s content in the UK, with Poppy Cat (Series II) recently delivered and with Clangers and Scream Street currently in production. Our catalogue is extensive and includes The Worst Witch, The Famous Five, Bagpuss, Clangers, Ivor The Engine, Fungus The Bogeyman and many more.

Our Consumer Products portfolio includes Clangers, our fast growing and much loved pre-school brand, Purple Ronnie, the iconic social expression brand, Poppy Cat and Beast Quest. We also represent the rights to the Smallfilms brands including Bagpuss, Ivor the Engine and Clangers (the original series).

The properties created and/or managed by Working Partners and Coolabi Productions are enhanced through the work of the Coolabi Licensing and Digital teams.

We also own some of the world’s best-loved and most successful picture books, including Giles Andreae’s Giraffe’s Can’t Dance, Rumble In The Jungle and Commotion In The Ocean.

Working Partners

Our books are published all around the world, with a number having sold in excess of a million copies each, and include some of the most successful recent series in children’s fiction, including Warriors, Beast Quest, Animal Ark, Heartland and Rainbow Magic.

The group also includes Rights People, the world’s number one licensor of children’s fiction, and The Greenhouse Literary Agency, a specialist transatlantic children’s literary agency.
