Coolabi Group Appoints Lizenzwerft to represent Poppy Cat in Germany
Independent international media group and rights owner Coolabi Group today announces the appointment of Lizenzwerft as licensing agent for Poppy Cat (Poppy Katz) in Germany, Austria, and German speaking Switzerland.
Poppy Cat, based on the award-winning book series by Lara Jones, launched on UK TV in 2011 and has since been licensed to some 140 territories globally. The first series aired on KiKA in Germany from May 2015 and the second series launches on 20th April 2017.

Lizenzwerft (Power Rangers, Angry Birds, Paddington Bear), based in Hamburg, Germany, was founded in 2011 by licensing executive Peter Bichler, who brings over 20 years of experience to the agency. The company will develop unique products for the long-term support of Poppy Cat through its established network of manufacturers and retailers.
Lizenzwerft joins El Ocho and Landmark, the licensing agents representing the brand in Spain and Japan respectively.
